White rump aggressive behavior to SESA
Observation details
Exact count, seen simultaneously. All-white rump seen on 5 of the 6, as they are being super aggressive and doing more fighting than foraging. Primaries extend beyond tail and cross. Pale base to mandible seen on several of the individuals. Varying levels of streaking along the flanks. Four are transitioning to breeding plumage and two were in non-breeding plumage. Black legs. Taller amd longer than Semipalmated Sandpiper.
