Observation details
We initially IDed one of these as a female adult-type Lucifer Hummingbird (LUHU). However, eBird's Mark Stevenson makes a good point about what appears to be a different species of hummingbird that has become discolored/stained by something. He also notes the lack of orange on the outer tail feathers and its presence on the central tail feathers. Mark thinks this looks like a Black-chinned dusted with pollen or something else. The male-type BCHU loitering nearby seems to add to the evidence.
