Observation details
Continuing bird found by RJ Curcio. Lifer! Immediately audible as soon as I approached - just as loud as any wren. Sang the entire day; I stopped in three times over the course of almost six hours to see it, only to find it singing and foraging in the same couple of spots each time. Fascinating to watch it shiver its whole body as it crept along the ground, turning over leaves and eating invertebrates. Always fairly close to the trail, at one point on my first viewing feeding practically at my feet and popping up for great views. Terrible lighting for photos, and lots of underbrush in the way.
