Observation details
2 barn swallows were nesting over the front entrance of a Harbor freight store in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They were completely unphased by several humans passing directly underneath of them, maybe 2 feet away. They also didn’t care that I was paying them attention and taking pictures of them. 2 other barn swallows were flying around together over the parking lot in the same area; again unphased by heavy human and vehicle traffic.
