Observation details
Amazing find by R.J. Curcio earlier today - first report at Thompson Park. Waited a while with no luck - backtracked on the trail and Paul and Rob had just seen - eventually heard very well with Paul M. - loud calls at close range. A while later finally saw the warbler as it was feeding very low through the leaf litter. Very tough conditions, but the bird looked up a couple times for photos - beautiful individual with bold eye-line extending behind eye where it widened, light eyebrow, longer beak, white lightly speckled breast and white under-tail, brown upper-parts, and light brown head matching primaries. Later heard calling again with Andrew S. Phone battery was empty, but I recorded video to capture the song after many tries. Lifer! Photos and audio to be added.
