Observation details
***Mega! We parked at Cove Pool and saw the bird well to the west at the top of the dune crossing collecting insects on the wing with other swallows, swifts, and martins. We decided to hoof it down the beach to the east path and walked halfway along the east spur trail where it was flying at close range at times too close for my camera. Large Apus swift, forked tail with a lighter gray coloration around the face. Photos to come.
