Observation details
🍊ho calls loud and well near me as I planted silver maples, appeared to be coming from forest SE boundary corner. Recorded. Really sound like Hawk and not BLJA imitation. Merlin ID of RSHA and sounds like it to me. Let me know if not so, since new yard bird! (so I want to be sure it is). Yard bird no. 132 (day 306). . * CKJ: Red-shouldered Hawk in yard Caleb: Wow! Nice work. I don't even have that for the county CKJ: YTVI still here, singing by pond. And a pair of BWWA seen, and singing still, 🤞 Planted some more silver maples; have 11 left in my bucket to do. No nap for me, but time to head out. I put double-orange flags into 8 holes for you to plant black chokeberries into, after you finish the 4 cranberries. Then you can choose into which ~ wet holes in swamp the 8 remaining silky dogwood go into. Also, if you can fill the two empty buckets by the compost for me, that would be awesome, especially if you can set them down the swamp. I got tubes onto the swamp black cherries. I love you and I really appreciate all your help. You are such a sweet dear planting partner. I wouldn't want to plant a forest with anyone else!
