Observation details
Large flycatcher with yellow belly, gray-brown head with rounded crest. Back darker brown with multiple tones. Photos. Observed singly but more frequently in pairs or even group of three in the upper story trees, usually about 15-25’ above the ground. Our walk for over 2 miles along trails through this 185 acre reservation brought us close to at least 13. We have had these birds nesting in boxes on our property for 8 years so are familiar with them.
