Nest in lowest hole on tree on main trunk
Observation details
Once calling in north-east of park. Also, adult coming to nest hole on south side of lake. Nest with at least one well-developed chick (sound recorded) but perhaps more. Adult would forage in trees close to nest and return very often to feed (perhaps every 30 seconds or so). Would then be periods when away for longer followed by series of rapid repeated visits.
