Observation details
Brown head (but not the back of the head). Red bill and legs. More black on the wing tips than a Bonaparte's Gull. Only slightly smaller than a Ring-billed Gull. BHGU flew north towards Casltederg Road, alone. I am extremely lucky I decided to bring my camera with me today. Saw the Gull, it had its back to me. I noticed it was smaller than the ring-billed gull nearby, assumed it was the immature RBGU I had saw earlier in the day until it turned its head. My first thought was that it was not a Bonaparte's. Check Merlin for the black headed gull species. I also posted a picture on Discord Chat to get a second opinion.
