Nesting colony is a sand and gravel pit that is being mined during the breeding season. Awell known Bank Swallow colony is sadly being destroyed.
Observation details
Swallow with dark neck band. Hard to estimate the colony size. Active sand quarry. Best seen in the afternoon after excavations have ended. There is a pull out on Ross Road.
