Observation details
The bird was refound on the top of a building near Lucille and PCH. It flew west to a tree along Cypress and then to the top of the bank sign at the corner of Cypress and PCH. It then flew east where the group I was with lost it. I really don’t care if this bird is considered “countable” for eBird or not. It’s still a life bird for me; one that I may never be able to see in its natural environment. Very beautiful! Creamy yellow head, neck and underparts; dark eyeline; back and wings blackish brown. White patches on primaries visible in flight.
