Observation details
Heard distinct sound, almost sounded like he was saying “fish crow”. Merlin, BirdNET, me, and my partner all believe the sound had to be a Fish Crow. Kinda small hanging on the playground by the beach. Slight bluish sheen. Ruled out: American Crow - Completely different sound and smaller compared to the American Crows. Was also hanging out in a different environment the the American Crows we saw - lingering by the shore and on the kids playground. The two crows were further off eating garbage. Common Raven - Far too small to be a raven, plus different call. Any kind of Grackle - Not as colorful, different shape Starling - No yellow beak, no orange legs, less colorful
