Observation details
Continuing in the Eighteenmile Creek swamp, where it was first discovered by Andy Norris. The bird called readily this morning for at least 15 minutes, giving long series of "kek" calls that typically increased in tempo in the middle of each sequence. At one point, I believed I could hear two birds overlapping, and it turns out my recording captured this (from 0:07 to 0:11, two birds can be heard on slightly different "kek" pitches and tempos). My ears had me 99% convinced there were two, and the recording clinched this conclusion for me. Please see attached recording.
