Observation details
One peep looked and sounded different. I will upload original (uncropped and unedited) photos and audio (amplified 3x). I finally (as of 5/14/2024) have gotten around to studying its possible identity and I believe it may be Temminck's Stint, based on plumage (gray chest and upperparts; plain head, dull eyering), structure (short thin bill), leg color (greenish), size (similar to LESA), and vocalizations (rattles). Interesting that a few days ago, a similar bird was discovered in British Columbia, perhaps this bird??? If this ID is supported by Eurasian shorebird experts, I will change the ID here as well.
