Observation details
Found by Kyle d'Entremont on May 10th, still continuing! I noted the Yellow-headed Blackbird on a wire over the main Maverick's Beach / West Trail parking lot, it later flew down and perched on a sign above the well named "catastrophic bird seed spill area" (props to Joe Morlan for that apropos description) but the bird quickly dropped into vegetation whence it did not emerge again while I was there. But Kyle himself did emerge and I was able to congratulate him for this cool and rare find for the coast!
