Observation details
Continuing. Found by AvoStilt while birding with Cadeo Scott on Sunday. Similar to NOPA but lacks dark necklace and white eye arcs. Yellow-orange on throat, yellow chest, white underparts. Has a rusty patch on back, seen in flight. Two wing bars, and blackish face. Singing at the top of its lungs, perhaps another TRPA will hear it from Mexico and fly in to join it! Lots of photos and a few audio recordings. It sounded similar to a yellow warbler at the first half of the phrase, followed by more buzzy, lower pitch notes.
