Observation details
Saw and heard one singing in Cottonwoods. Very hard to see without its voice to guide us as it easily disappeared behind the Cottonwood leaves. We think there was another with the singing bird, as we thought we saw two together once. The very small warbler resembles a plain VIWA. It had a sharp pointed gray bill, light gray wings and back, dark eye with possible thin white eye ring, white or very light undersides and fine red streaking on crown plus red rump.
