Observation details
Slightly late? Initially heard the soft, dry “tek…..tek…” calls. Different pace and rhythm than other wrens. Rapid fire House Wren calls in other direction at same time. Very skulky in the tall grasses and wood piles near the pond. Seen briefly, noting rufous scapulars and white streaks on black back of wren profile with white supercilium. Have a photo of back half of bird to be added. Color, sound, wings rule out something like a Sedge Wren unfortunately.
