Observation details
Considering how far it's flown to get here, just a couple of degrees off course, que no?. One photo shows the white rump. Often near a killdeer and/or a least sandpiper, allowing for size comparisons; larger than the LESA. Wings extend farther back than tail, wings mostly brown above and mostly white below. Patterned head includes dark and light brown and white, whiter under the chin, dark patch between eye and beak. Light supercilium. Beak mostly dark but shows lighter brown, especially at base of mandible. Back strongly patterned (breeding plumage), mix of dark brown to black, light brown, and white. Patterning on breast, but mostly white there. White belly. Flanks show backwards-pointing dark brown stippling. Legs mostly covered with mud but when apparently rinsed off, look dark. I will attach photos to show these detailed traits.
