Observation details
A mating pair. A male followed the female landed on the branch of a tall lofty tree and mated. After mating, the birds remained on the tree. The male that looked slightly slender and smaller in sized than the female moved away on the branch. The female engaged in a bout of preening immediately after mating. Also, the male looked more paler than the female: the male had whiter on the head, sides of neck, upper breast and belly than the female which had a more rufous on head, sides of neck, upper breast and belly. The male had a more paler and buffish bands on the belly, which were relatively richer rufous in the female.
