Observation details
cont. a.p. adult from this morning; sitting on small rocky island; we again did not see it in flight, or even lift its wings; folded primaries, beyond the tail, the primaries rather dark gray, a couple in the middle blackish (unlike Forster's); its bill & legs were redder than those of most Forster's and longer than those of Arctic. RAR took photos (as did others earlier today); birder we met this morning apparently Alex Patia, based on his eBird list; continues to look like an a.p. Common, but we would have liked to have seen it in flight;
