Observation details
***Very rare. Second day in a row, but almost surely the same bird as was at Myers yesterday evening. Perched on breakwall, then doing short flights to various perches as the other terns took flight and landed off and on. Smaller and shorter than adjacent Common Terns; upperparts whiter, less gray; bill all black, also longer and thinner than bills of the Common; breast pale rosy pink. Had disappeared when we relocated, and we remained another hour but did not see it return.
