Observation details
Continuing. Much better looks today than yesterday. Warbler with slate blue upperparts (couldn’t see green on back), two white wing bars, blackish mask (no white eye arcs like Northern Parula), bright yellow chin, dark orange patch on throat/upper breast, bright yellow belly, and whiteish undertail coverts. Showed up at 5:41pm in sycamores in creek, then moved around the oaks a lot and we lost it. Around here: 34.160146,-117.825761. Sang a handful of times. Similar to Yellow Warbler song but “buzzier”. Was also being chased by a Yellow Warbler at one point. Photos.
