Observation details
Large group of cormorants gathered on rock island in middle of pond. Too distant to see facial skin clearly but these birds did not appear to have yellow skin in front/over eye that would be present with Double-Crested, making Neotropical more likely. When a few of these birds were in flight, head/neck appeared about the same length as tail, for balanced appearance; not front-heavy like Double-Crested that has shorter tail proportionally than Neotropic. Will try to return for photos of birds in flight if possible.
