Observation details
Found by Forrest English who alerted local birders. Good views of this singing black-and-white striped warbler crawling around on the trunk bark of cottonwoods and willows, staying mostly mid-level in tall trees. Sometimes it hung upside down like a nuthatch as evidenced in one of the photos. Male with black throat. It was singing its two note high-pitched song with very high-pitched call notes. Audio recordings and photographs.
