Observation details
Along the wall by the pond catching insects, yellow throat instead of white (Myrtle). Notice white spots near the Lores and white extends a bit into the neck behind the yellow throat. Could this be an Audubon x Myrtle hybrid? I am not that familiar with this type of determination. Please advise. Changed species from Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon) as per Amy Clark Courtney email agreeing that the above mentioned observations plus Amy’s comment: “the wingbar pattern appears intermediate, and the forehead appears lighter than I think it should on an AUWA”. Thanks Amy!
