Observation details
Medium-sized tern with long wings and tail. Mostly white wings with thin black leading and trailing edges to primaries. The bird had a long forked white tail and a longish dark bill with the proximal half orange-ish. Legs appeared orange-ish. I spotted the bird as it was flying low and drinking and bathing in the water. After a couple of minutes it got up to about 75 feet agl and flew N. I wonder it it spent the night here or was just migrating and stopped for a drink and a bath?
