Observation details
Early morning, saw a female carrying nesting material. Later saw 2 parents having insects in their beaks and moving about for quite some time. When we moved away , the male went straight to the nest and fed a chick. That's when I realised we were standing next to the nest which made them wait for a long time . Both parents repeatedly feeding insects to 2 chicks in a nest , in a hollow in a dry tree trunk. One of the chicks flew out to nearby branch and parent continued feeding it on the branch
