Observation details
Chick on large cross branch of eucalyptus tree not far from monarch gift trailer, surprisingly low in tree, parent hooting from out of sight location behind and higher. Returned to area later and found adult perched in eucalyptus and the chick resting in same branch as earlier, closer to trunk.
