A Yellow Warbler is singing from the edge of Mesquite Pond at San Bernardino NWR on a clear, calm, beautiful morning. Background includes: Bell’s Vireo, White-winged Dove, Gila Woodpecker, Red-winged Blackbird, Cassin’s Kingbird, bullfrogs. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
[1100m] common, much singing and calling; one fledged juvenile at Slaughter Ranch was early;
