Observation details
Part of an unprecedented movement through Humboldt, probably ten birds seen over the past week. One of these two was perched in the eucalyptus grove to the east by the time I got there; I couldn't have identified it if Rob Fowler hadn't already done so, but it did appear slender and long-winged. The other was still flying slightly to the north (over Lanphere Rd.); though farther away, it had the obvious SWHA flight profile of slight dihedral and long, tapered wings. It was seen with TUVUs and was distinctly smaller.
