Observation details
Looks like a cross between a brown thrush and an American Robin because it is such a muddy brown color, and has orange underneath. Belly is whiteish, which indicates Eastern Towhee (vs American Robin which has complete orange belly.) Also, head is completely brown (vs American Robin which has white markings.) Hopping around near ravine, on mulched area out in the open. Acting like an American Robin except tail held up and body shape slightly different.
