Observation details
thought there were two, but perhaps only one. Pictures of one. After reading of amazing find by Joachim Bertrand and Sean McElaney on May 11, it is apparently a Temminck's Stint!! seen in extreme NW corner. I was wondering why it did not seem to match any Spotted Sandpiper plumages, but have no experience with stints. Noted grey back with splotches of black and brown, yellow legs , extensive white in tail when in flight. Narrow eye ring. Appeared to be with one other bird, then by itself, with Killdeer nearby. No nearby LESA for comparison.
