Observation details
in the field thought we were watching a pair doing a far out courtship dance but photos revealed it was 2 males doing a territorial defense war dance consisting of both birds facing off with their bills pointing upwards and taking turns at performing little body jerks accompanied by wing flicking, captivating to watch!
