Observation details
***Very rare. Adults moving north up lake, passing around 7:24. Staying fairly low to water, never getting above treeline. Dark, bulky gull-like birds, immediately recognizable as jaegers by shape and pattern, dark overall with pale yellowish collar. Several white primaries visible on upperwing, underwing with single pale flash. Continued north out of sight. Distant photos.
