Observation details
20 of the 60 landed in the grass behind the blue dumpster beginning of the trail just past the bridge. See photos. I thought they were Sharp-tailed Sandpipers because they were hiding and foraging in the grass. But alas, they were Pectoral Sandpipers, which are similar in look. The sheer number should have been a clue for me. Corrected based on info provided by Gus VanVliet.
