Observation details
This photo was taken by Tom Koontz, who doesn't use eBird. This Willet was clearly more squatty than the many Western Willets we were seeing along the beaches. It had noticeably shorter legs and a distinctly shorter bill relative to the rangier and longer-billed Western Willets that we were seeing throughout the week.
