Observation details
Another fantastic find by Brandon Holden! He posted to Discord and the chase was on. I was the first to arrive but by the time I left, there may have been 35 or more happy birders. This is the second year in a row for one of these to show up in Chatham-Kent and I was lucky enough to see both. Of note, last year’s bird was hit by a car near Erieau on May 3 and I saw it on May 24th, back at Erieau, after it was released the previous day near Forest, Ontario. That bird was eventually found dead in the USA. I attached record photos but I’m looking forward to seeing those the Brandon took.
