Observation details
First detected and ID'd by sound even though I've heard very few in recent years. Bird singing, but then stopped and I thought I might have been mistaken. But then it started singing again, but closer. I worked around and tried to tape it in to try to get views and to get sound recordings. It would go through singing bouts when it would sing continuous long mimic song. Rather loud, thrasher like song, but phrases more variable with short phrases and long phrases. Got two brief glimpses. One with clear views of lemon yellow throat and olive on back. Eye was obscured.
