Media notes
4 star for interest. Interesting. These are likely the two that fledged April 16 so this makes it three weeks. Patricia A. Gowaty and Jonathan H. Plissner in Birds of the World state "In S. Carolina, fledglings remain in family groups for up to 3 wk." The two juveniles here likely fledged three weeks ago and are begging for food. Prominent white base of bill with whitish lores on juveniles are not described in Birds of the World and I have not seen mentioned elsewhere.
Observation details
These most certainly are the nestlings that fledged in Mid April from a nest box in my garden.
