Observation details
Small flock (2 males, 2 females) feeding on conifer cones around tennis courts. One male was blotched reddish orange and olive yellow. Females were grayish yellow. All were dark winged with crossed bills. Heard ‘kip’ notes when they flew from location to location. Photos attached.
