Observation details
11 adult and two sub adults seen. Adults had black hoods, broken, white eye rings, and all black bills with short red legs. They were much smaller than the also present franklin’s Gulls. Closer in size to the Forsters Terns also present. sub adult or non-breeding birds also had red legs and all black bills. They had no hood, a small black dot behind the eye and the eye was smudged.
