Observation details
Low estimate; 2s and 1s seen multiple times feeding with other terns or flying by. Very white looking terns, slimmer and narrower winged than Forster's with very long white tails; evenly very pale grayish-white above, very limited black on outer 1-2 primaries, black caps and bills, pinkish wash below, quick wingbeats, squeaky "chi-vik" calls heard from one closer bird. CLR notes: One banded bird (perhaps a different individual?) sitting with the Common and Forster’s Terns on St. Pete’s jetty at ~1:30 p.m. This bird was flushed from the jetty when a fisherman arrived and it then headed past us going east.
