Observation details
Initially reported by Levi Wilson and continuing. The bird was identified primarily by its call which is significantly more nasal sounding than an American Crow. I hear fish crows regularly in Southwest Florida when we visit family for two weeks over Christmas every year. It was also noticeably smaller than an AMCR. Unfortunately I don’t personally have a camera that can take close up shots of most birds however I was observing the bird at the same time and from the same location as Brian Brosky who reported the FICR on eBird on the same day and provided multiple close up photos. Audio uploaded.
