Observation details
One adult roosting in dense eucalyptus tree; two large but still partially downy young in nest in another eucalyptus tree. The eucalyptus tree with the nest was mostly dead, only about 40 feet tall, with the nest about 25 feet above the ground only 10 feet from the edge San Felipe road. The nest and the young were very conspicuous, and this seemed like an odd place for the species to nest.
