Media notes

NOTES: Several birds, probably one pair in particular roadside pond. Background sounds: wind, reflector, voices, l. longspurs, wood frogs. Magnecord 40" R. Recorded in morning. #58259. [This recording appears to contain mostly "wedY wedY wedY" chatters, but also several sets of loud "pip" or "twick" calls (0:14-0:16 0:21, 1:31-1:35). A two-parted call at 0:27-0:28 appears to have been given by this species, but it does not seem match anything described in the BNA account (possibly either the drawn-out "whip" alarm call or the "sweep" call, but unlike the spectrogram of the latter published in Figure 4A of the account due to the presence of multiple harmonics). Quality added (2-1, 2-3) - CAM - 8 December 2004].
