Observation details
I was pretty shocked to see this bird here with all the foot traffic and so late. At the “catastrophic bird seed spill" JSO parking lot. Bird came out to edge of trail one time for a few seconds and seemed more comfortable ‘inside the ropes’ and under the largest coyote bush. It was seemingly OK with the 3-4 domestic rabbits nearby. On the second good look I managed some pix before it flew West across the trail into the bushes. Photos.
