Observation details
Singing in the powerline cut at approximately 36.067218, -79.012853. Slow trill lasting about two seconds, repeated about every 10 seconds. Audio attached. It sounded like a Wilson's Warbler to me, and Merlin agreed over several recordings, but confirmation (or not) is welcome. I caught a very brief, poor glimpse of a yellow warbler with black head markings in the same area, but not a good enough look to determine whether it was the singing bird or whether it might have been something like a Common Yellowthroat or Hooded Warbler.
