Observation details
Located by Alex Castlestein while I was standing right there having no idea this Ibis was different than the others. Grey faced rather than red-faced like the White-faced Ibises, which would indicate Glossy Ibis. But on the other hand the legs are just as bright as those on the nearby white-faced, and the lower line on the face is pink rather than bluish, which indicates this is a hybrid, although it might have more Glossy than White-faced in it. The 4 Ibises were feeding in the northwest section of Area M so relatively close for these photos, then flew to the middle of Area M and were mostly hidden in the salicornia, only their heads briefly visible from time to time as they looked around.
